Our BBQ Hut
Staying at Foxtwood is all about relaxing, discovering nature and enjoying our location, so we’ve introduced a covered outdoor seating, campfire and BBQ area, nicknamed “the Rocking Shed” as you can now relax and take in the view in one of our rocking chairs!
Enjoy the tranquillity of our beautiful setting in all weathers, complete with candles, twinkly lights and nothing but the stars and wildlife to watch.
This space is for all our guests, so you may need to book ahead for a slot during your stay to ensure everyone gets to enjoy this special space. There’s a table and benches allowing you to enjoy a meal up there or simply a few drinks around a campfire. Please use the calendar below and choose one slot. If we have additional availability for the BBQ Shelter while you’re staying, you may be able to enjoy the experience more than once.
Booking the Rocking Shed
The Rocking Shed can be pre-booked at £30 per session (5 pm to 10 pm) using the booking form below.
Your booking includes a bucket of charcoal and a trug of logs, which should be sufficient for a small group of up to 6.
Extra charcoal or logs can be purchased at £10 each. If the area is not booked, you are very welcome to go and picnic or relax at no charge.
Please remember we’re providing a relaxing experience for all our guests, so we ask you to adhere to the following guidelines:
- All is quiet after 10 pm, and all our outdoor slots finish then.
- If music is your thing, please keep the volume down to maintain peace and quiet for everyone.
- Don’t forget to leave the area as you found it so that we can do a quick turnaround for other guests.
- There’s nothing like a real fire, but please take careful notice of our safety advice.
